Honey, welcome to my box.

Hello there lovely people.

I feel very Carrie-esque sitting here on my sister Christine's laptop writing blogs. I made a comfy area complete with pillows and an ashtray, which makes me feel even more like pre-Aidan Carrie. Although I must say, Carrie letting a man convince her to change her lifestyle, makes me want to grab her by the shoulders and shake her into feminism. Especially when Aidan ends up marrying a furniture designer, AKA a female version of HIMSELF!! Issues? I think so. But who am I to condemn those in love?

My friend Steven, who is also inexplicably awake at this hour, is complaining that it is his birthday in less than a month. I mean god, it's not like at 25 you have the rest of your life ahead of you. You may as well reserve your grave the second you turn the dreaded two five. This whole thing reminds me of Sex and the City (those who are not fans of the show, you may as well give up reading these blogs to be brutally honest, I will probably refer to it a lot) you see, Steven is complaining about having to check a different box on forms. I only wish he had someone equivalent to Samantha to say "Honey, welcome to my box", in the saucy manner that she does. God Samantha, how I wish I was you.

Moving on from Sex and the City, I am now watching Pride and Prejudice for the second time tonight. I am growing increasingly more in love with Mr Darcy every second. I can say the same concerning Kiera Knightly, call me a lesbian if you wish, but I think she is GORGEOUS. A traditional beauty. Like me of course...

Why is it that men just aren't made like Mr Darcy these days? Or Edward? And if they are, why don't they seek to include themselves in my life?

Daniel thinks I'm touched in the head for the way I go on about Edward. But Laura is the same. Only she understands the depth of my love for him haha. Also, why is Jacob hot in the film for New Moon?? It makes it so much harder to hate him! So does his part of the book in Breaking Dawn. He's really quite funny. But let's pretend I didn't say that. If you have not read the Twilight books I highly recommend that you do. Unless, of course, you have recently been thinking that your boyfriend does not do enough for you. In this case, reading about Edward Cullen can only end in heartbreak. Your expectations in men will become stupidly unrealistic and you will end up as cynical as I am. It is not a good place to be.

I should really stop now, it's 3.46am, the birds are chirping and I have to be up tomorrow so that I can meet Alex to go to town, preferably without falling asleep on the metro and being compared to the Eldon Square Tramp by the other passengers.

Night :)
xx
